JAMMU, Oct 28: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Delta Force based at Banihal distributed furnitures to Government Primary School, Nagbal in District Ramban.
The aim of this project is to improve their basic infrastructure, facilities & provide impetus to overall development of the school. The project was initiated at the behest of joint concern by the locals, school staff and the Delta Force which would in turn increase the number of students attending the school.
The furniture encompassing desks, benches, easel with black boards, chairs & lecture stands were handed over to the school Principal. The occasion was attended by students with parents, school staff, village elders. This noble gesture of the Delta Force was well received and appreciated by one and all of Nagbal. Speaking on the occasion, the Village Sarpanch and parents of the students expressed their gratitude for this act of Indian Army.
