Delhi youth dies, 4 injured in accident

KATHUA, June 19: A Delhi based youth was died, while four others were injured when the car they were traveling in, met with accident Barnoti on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway.
As per police sources, a car bearing registration number JK02AU-5404 was on its way to Kathua from Rajbagh, when its tyre bursted and the vehicle turned turtle at Barnoti, resulting into injuries to five persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Kathua, where doctors declared one of the injured youth as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Kapil, son of Harish, a resident of New Delhi, while the injured have been identified as Shakar, Aditya and Hearday, all residents of New Delhi and Sukhwinder Singh, son of Sat Pal, a resident of Makundpur, Rajbagh, tehsil Hiranagar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Kathua and investigation started.
