Delhi, Valley parties can’t do justice with Jammu: NPP

JAMMU, Sept 13: Former Minister and Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir national Panthers Party (NPP) Harshdev Singh has said that Delhi and Kashmir valley based parties can not do justice with the people of Jammu region.
Addressing a huge gathering at Devak Community Hall at Janipur here today, Mr Singh said that NPP is the only regional party of Jammu region which has been fighting for the cause of the Dogras right from the time of its inception both inside and outside the legislature. He said that Delhi and Kashmir based parties are not the solution to the discrimination doled out to the people of the region and maintained that Panthers Party is well versed with the plight of the people which has vowed to regain the pride and honour of the Dogras at all costs.
The NPP leader alleged  that the BJP despite getting overwhelming mandate from the electorate of Jammu region had miserably failed to live up to the people’s expectations by  surrendering all the Jammu based issues before the Kashmir centric leaders for the lust of power. He said that the Saffron brigade had deliberately denied AIIMS and Smart City to Jammu to keep the unholy alliance intact for its vested political interests.
Balwant Singh Mankotia (Ex-MLA) said that all the wards in the Municipal limits of Jammu are facing acute electricity and water crisis. He said that several wards are deprived of basic civic amenities and the condition of the lanes and roads is in dilapidated condition. He said that the BJP immediately after coming to power had promised to conduct  the Municipal elections in the month of April which was due for the last five years but no such notification has been issued so far.
On this occasion one Sanjeev Verma along with his supporters joined the NPP and appealed  the people especially the youth to propagate the agenda of the party to the grass root level. He said that JKNPP is the only regional party of Jammu region which can fight for the cause of Jammu.
Naresh Chib, Gagan Pratap Singh, MP Singh Pandu, Rakesh Gupta, Ravinder Jamwal, Satvir Singh, Anil Rakwal were also present.
