Delhi gangrape case hearing on daily basis in fast track court

NEW DELHI, Jan 17:
The magistrate court today committed the Delhi gangrape case to the fast track court, Saket.
Fast track court judge Yogesh Khanna will now hear the case on a day-to-day basis.
The case was committed to the court of sessions for proper trial after the defence counsel told the magistrate that the documents supplied to them were complete.
Most of the eleven sections imposed against the five accused in the rape and murder case are exclusively triable by the sessions court.
The braveheart was subjected to the gang rape and was brutally assaulted by the six acccused one of whom says he is a juvenile.
The horrible incident occurred in the night of December 16, last year which led to nationwide outcry demanding death for the culprits.
The juvenile justice board has permitted the police to conduct bone test to ascertain whether the sixth accused is a juvenile or not. (UNI)
