JAMMU, Jan 12: A delegation of J&K Accounts Employees Association (JKAEA) Jammu and its Secretariat Unit met Dr. A.K Mehta, Chief Secretary (CS) and Mahesh Dass, DGAT Finance.
The delegation was led by JKAEA president Jammu and Secretariat Unit and it comprised of G.N Tantray, K.S Pathania, Sanjay Sadhu, Raghubir, Adarsh Sharma, Tej Krishan, M. Akram, Kulbir Singh, Shahnawaz Qadri, V. Dogra, Manzoor A. Wani, Sudesh Bhat, Joginder, Rajeshwar and others.
The delegation invited attention of CS towards resolution of some core issues witnessed by the cadre at present.
Delegation members said that issuance of regularization orders for 223 Junior Scale Accounts Officers and grant of Selection Grade to 85 Junior Scale Accounts Officers has fulfilled their long pending demand and the backlog has been cleared after a long gap of six years.
