Delegation meets Chief Engineer, demands electrification of Block Moghla

JAMMU, Aug 30: A delegation comprising Sarpanch Kewal Krishan Sharma, Nakul Sharma, State Secretary JKPYC, Neik Ram Sharma, Amit Sharma, General Secretary, DYC Rajouri and Baldev Sharma met Chief Engineer EM & RE Wing Jammu, Sudhir Gupta and demanded electrification in Block Moghla of Rajouri District and installation of transformers there.
Sarpanch Kewal Krishan demanded proper electric connections in Block Moghla and electrification of Ward No. 2 of Panchayat Jungrail East where more than 80 houses are still un-electrified.
The delegation also demanded installation of 63 KVA transformers in the required areas of Block Moghla especially in Panchayat Jungrail East where the people are allegedly facing electricity crisis due to low voltage.
The delegation also demanded the release of payments to the people of Kotchardwal, Narla Bambal and Odhan Khorbani areas against their work done to erect poles, install transformers, conductor etc to electrify the area as per directions by Power Development Commissioner Secretary two months back.
The Chief Engineer directed the Xen, Rajouri to provide complete electrification in the remaining area and to install transformers in the required areas so that people are provided electricity.
