Delegation led by Tassaduq, former VC BGSBU call on Governor

Srinagar, June 29: A four member delegation led by Tassaduq Hussain Mufti, former Minister, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.
The delegation briefed Governor about the work done for the improvement of facilities of various tourist destinations in the State, particularly the conservation of Dal and Wular Lakes, which are a major attraction for the visitors.
Governor stressed the need to develop environment friendly and aesthetically attractive tourist places for promoting sustainable eco-friendly tourism in J&K.
Masood Ahmad Choudhary, former Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University also called on Governor.
They discussed certain serious challenges relating to higher education and some issues relating to the orderly growth and development of the Pir Panchal region.
