JAMMU, July 14: Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar organized a webinar on “Building Digital Startups 2021- Scope and Possibilities” as a part of series of lectures to promote Startup India And Manadarpan an initiatives of Govt Of India.
A Young Entrepreneur from Jammu, Arush Mahajan – Core member of JK Startups Association, was invited as a Resource Person. He made familiar the participants with the concept of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. He stressed upon the use of internet and technology to build the bright career.
He made participants aware of upcoming careers opportunities that are possible though internet and how we can use internet to build new start-ups and become a successful entrepreneur in such a competitive world.
The webinar started with the welcome address delivered by Prof Sujat Khan, HOD Computer Applications and Convener IQAC.
Inaugural address was delivered by Principal Prof K S Koushal, who said that Manodarpan and startup India are the initiatives of Govt of India to make the upcoming generations skill full so that they can be job providers instead of job seekers.
After completion of the lecture, an interactive session was handled by Prof Parveen Sharma and queries submitted by participants were addressed by the speaker.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Davinder Kour, HOD Education and convener Psychology Counselling Cell.
