JAMMU, Feb 20: An SP of J&K Police who yesterday died at a private hospital in Jammu was among four persons whose blood samples have been tested positive for Swine Flu.
According to Dr Deepak Kapoor, Epidemiologist in Health Department Jammu, a total of 23 samples from Jammu region have been sent for testing to laboratories in Delhi till date out of which the department today received report of 15 samples.
Out of these 15 reports, he said four including one of police officer who died yesterday in ASCOMS and Hospital, Jammu, are positive for Swine Flu virus.
Yesterday, doctors of the private hospital had said that the SP died due to respiratory disorder but the culture report of the deceased today confirmed that he was suffering from Swine Flu, Dr Deepak Kapoor said.
