JAMMU, May 18: Jammu Asha Kiran Welfare Society, Janipur Housing Colony organised a debate on the topic “Crime Against Women” at Government High School, Janipur Colony, in which students from various school participated.
In the competition, Nandini Gupta and Kavita Devi of GGHS secured first and second positions respectively, while Pankaj Mehra of GMS secured third position.
Dr JP Gupta, Chairman of the society highlighted the ways to lessen the violence against women in the society.
At the end, Secretary of the society Kamal Nater presented vote of thanks.
Among others present were Ved Chibber, president, Dr Vinod Arora, Raj Kumar, Hari Chand Sharma, Ramesh Gupta, Harbans Lal Sharma and school faculty.
