DDC takes stock of public grievances

RAJOURI, Mar 20:  Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Bhat  today visited various areas of Sub Divisions Nowshera, Sunderbani and took stock of the  losses inflicted to crops due to rainfall and hailstorms earlier this week.
During the tour, the DDC visited  a number of villages namely  Sayal, Mangiote, Kangri, Bajabain, Talla Tanda, Bainigala, Changi Kangrial, Bajwal and took on spot assessment of losses caused  to standing crops of wheat, mustard, vegetables, fruits and mulberry leaves.
The Deputy Commissioner issued on spot directions to the officers  of revenue, agriculture, horticulture and sericulture departments to immediately  assess the losses and submit a  detailed  report  at an earliest.
Meanwhile, locals of the area including Sarpanchs and Panchs also apprised the DC of the problems being faced by them.
SDM ,Sunderbani, Kartar Singh, SDM, Nowshera, Harbans Lal, Tehsildar, Pankaj Sasan along with the officials of agriculture, horticulture and  sericulture accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during his visit.
