SAMBA, Nov 20: District Development Commissioner Samba, Sushma Chauhan today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the achievements made under Capex Budget, Centrally Sponsored Schemes and also discussed the status of languishing projects in the district.
Deputy Commissioner chaired the appraisal meeting and reviewed financial and physical achievements made in District Plan (Capex Budget) and in Centrally Sponsored Schemes. During the meeting, District Officers concerned presented details of the work done and targets achieved. After threadbare discussion, Deputy Commissioner directed ADDC & CPO to overall verify the works done in time bound manner and submit report also in regard to the languishing projects of district.
The DDC also directed the officers to work with zeal and zest to achieve the targets during this financial year.She said that the pace of works needs to be accelerated in the district so that benefits accrue to the people well on time.
The meeting was attended by Pankaj Magotra, Additional District Development Commissioner, Sukhleen Kour, Chief Planning Officer, Jyoti Rani Salathia, PO ICDS, Muddasir Lateif Tasir, ACD, General Manager DIC, PO DRDA, PO IWMP, DPO, DSWO, CMO, CEO, XEN PWD, PHE, PMGSY, EM&RE, besides other District Officers of Samba.
