DC takes stock of grievances of border dwellers

KATHUA Oct 4: In order to take stock of grievances of border dwellers, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Raghav Langer met several delegations at Hiranagar.
The members of the delegation apprised the DC of their demands which were mainly related to basic amenities such as uninterrupted quality power supply, drinking water, road connectivity and filling of vacant posts of Doctors in Hiranagar area.
DC assured the people that all their issues will be resolved at the earliest.
DC said that apart from basic amenities, demands flagged during Back to Village program will also get realized soon.
In presence of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Sameer Mattoo, DC immediately cancelled all the attachment orders of Doctors who were posted in CHC Hiranagar and ordered them to report back immediately otherwise their salaries will be withheld.
He also informed that the demand of Medical Officer in PHC Marheen will also be looked into.
ACD, Sukhpal Singh, CMO, Dr. Ashok Chaudhary, CHO, C L Sharma, DSHO, Engineers and other concerned officials were present on this occasion.
