JAMMU, Aug 26: Deputy Commissioner Sushma Chauhan today reviewed the progress on introduction of e-mode system for disbursement of rental compensation to the owners for the land under the Army use at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, SDM South, ACR Jammu, SDM Khour, SDM Chowki Choura, SDM R S Pura, SDM Marh, SDM North and District Information Officer (NIC) besides senior officers of concerned departments.
While reviewing the progress on e- mode disbursement, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned to incorporate the names of left out claimants and pending cases at the earliest.
She also impressed upon the SDMs and Tehsildars to expedite the process of payment to the land owners through electronic mode.
The meeting also discussed in detail various aspects of the new payment system- ERENT being developed for paying rental compensation to beneficiaries.
It was informed that a total 217 cases of beneficiaries of tehsils Akhnoor, Arnia, Bahu, Bhalwal, Bishnah, Chowki Choura, Dansal, Jammu, Jammu North, Joourian, Kharah Balli, Khour, Mandal, Marh, Nagrota, Pargwal, R.S. Pura, Suchetgarh have been prepared for the disbursement of rental compensation till date.
