DC Reasi conducts midnight inspection of District Hospital, Grid Station

REASI, Jan 10: To check attendance and punctuality of staff, the Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh conducted surprise inspection of District Hospital in the midnight of 09th-10th of January.
The DC took stock of health care facilities being provided by the hospital administration to patients. In wake of recent weather conditions, DC also visited EOC of District Hospital and directed medical staff to immediately attend to the distress calls.
He interacted with the patients admitted in different wards to enquire about health care facilities and availability of medical staff there.
Charandeep Singh directed the hospital administration to display the Duty roster of doctors and other paramedical staff at prominent places to keep check on their attendance and punctuality for the convenience of the public. He further stressed on implementation of Covid SoPs and promotion of COVID appropriate behavior among patients.
Later, the DC inspected Grid Station, Trintha and asked PDD officials to ensure round the clock power supply.
He also asked them for effective regulation of power supply and further streamlining of the power distribution network.
During his visit to the grid and receiving station, he inspected the log book maintained by the PDD officials and checked the working of each feeder.
The DC enquired about the schedule being maintained and the areas that are being fed by the receiving stations.
He also instructed for maintaining the records with regard to the number of consumers/households and areas catered to by the twin stations. He asked for maintaining a diary of the consumer complaints on a daily basis, a detailed chart of resource inventory and the details of inspections conducted by officers at various levels.
