RAJOURI, Feb 19: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today provided financial assistance of Rs 60,000 to the family members of an electric shock victim, Mohd Saleem hailing from Thudi, Jawahar Nagar.
ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir and Tehsildar Rajouri, Mehmood Khan were present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention that Mohd Saleem got an electric shock a few days ago and financial assistance of Rs 10000 was immediately provided to the victim’s family by the District Administration.
Power Care Group (Employees of Power Department) also contributed and helped the family of victim.
DDC said that the District Administration Rajouri is with the family of the victim in this tough time and is committed to provide best possible support to them. He also assured to provide a commercial vehicle to the victim’s son from the MUMKIN scheme.
He also issued directions to Executive Engineer, JPDCL to ensure that ‘protective gears’ shall be provided to each employee, working for restoration of Power supply, so that such incidents could be avoided in future.
DDC also asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to immediately register both sons of the victim in her department, so that they may avail benefit under various schemes.
