DC Poonch flags off 40 tribal youth for Aryans Jammu Super 50 program

POONCH, June 9: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Basharat Hussain today flagged off a vehicle carrying a group of 40 tribal youth of Degree College Poonch, Surankote and Mendhar for one day interaction under Aryans Jammu Super 50 program being held at Panchayat Bhawan Jammu.
Among other officers present were Chief Horticulture Officer, Vinod Kumar, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Mohammad Azam Rather, besides prominent citizens.
To empower deserving tribal youth of Jammu region through Technical Education, the Aryans Group of Colleges Rajpura- Chandigarh is going to organise the event where 50 students would be shortlisted for Aryans Jammu Super 50 Program.
While giving more information, the Deputy Commissioner said that many Tribal Students are deprived of Technical Education in absence of adequate number of Technical Colleges in JK and their inability to afford technical courses outside Jammu and Kashmir.
