RAJOURI, Jan 27: Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Aijaz Ahmed Asad ordered a probe into the incident of mishandling of National flag by some officials, creating embarrassing situation during Republic Day official function at district headquarters here on Saturday.

Official sources said that Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh and Additional SP, Rajouri Liaqat Kalas have been directed to hold an inquiry and submit report within one week.
It said that rope of the National flag was broken and the flag fell down as the National Anthem started at the DPL, during official function at Rajouri where DC, Aijaz Asad was the chief guest. The situation turned embarrassing for the district administration as large number of citizens, special guests and students were witnessing the programme.
