KUPWARA, July 4: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Khalid Jahangir today paid surprise visit to various Government offices in the district.
The DDC accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other senior officers inspected offices in Block Kralpora and Trehgam during which 15 employees of various offices were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties.
The DDC directed for action as warranted under rules against the absentee employees.
Meanwhile, the DDC directed the concerned team to continue the inspections to check the attendance of employees in various offices in the district.
He further directed all the concerned Heads of Departments to ensure punctuality of employees in the offices for better delivery of services to the people and seek permission of the competent authority before leaving the headquarters.
