KULGAM, June 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today conducted an extensive inspection of on-going work on the National Highway (NH)-444 project in the district.
He reviewed the progress made on the Kulgam By-Pass on NH 444, stretching from Pahloo to Lirow, including 378-meter-long Brazloo bridge.
During his visit, the DDC was briefed by the engineers on the progress status of the NH-444 Pahloo-Lirow ByPass.
The DC instructed the concerned to expedite the work and ensure the timely completion of the NH-444 project in the district.
He also emphasized the need to prioritize the construction of the Brazloo Bridge which is coming up an estimated cost of Rs 56 cr.
Accompanying the DC were Assistant Commissioner Revenue Reyaz Ahmad Shah; Tehsildar Kulgam/Pahloo, Executive Engineer NH444, Construction Division Srinagar, AEE’s and other officers.
