JAMMU, Nov 12: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Smile Social Youth Club through its President Matloob Saleem Qureshi highlighting the need of facilities for organ transplant, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed the State to comply with the directions within two weeks.
After hearing Advocate Navneet Dubey appearing for the PIL, DB directed respondents to file response in application filed by the petitioner mentioning that the faculty position in Medical Colleges was not up to the mark and the patients were suffering badly.
“As per the earlier order, Principals of GMC Jammu and Srinagar were directed to come-up with detailed report but they have not filed the same”, the DB observed and directed them to submit detailed project report on next date of hearing.
