JAMMU, Mar 2: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Ranjeet Singh Chib expressing concern over illegal conversion of world famous Basmati rice growing land into concrete jungle, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur directed AAG HA Siddiqui to produce Action Taken Report against the person who have converted the land use to non-agriculture purposes.
Advocate Srishti Paul Mengi appeared for the PIL.
