JAMMU, July 4: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Advocate Summit Nayyar seeking development of Mantalai-Sudhmahadev, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Tashi Rabstan and Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta today directed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Patnitop Development Authority to appear in person on next date of hearing.
“Vide order dated 22.05.2018, Government Advocate A H Bhat was directed to file affidavit stating therein the period within which the projects with regard to the development of Mantalai and Sudhmahadev will be completed and details of the amount that has been spent on these projects till now but needful has not been done”, DB said.
On this, counsel appearing for the State respondents sought further time for filing compliance of order dated 22.05.2018. “Let needful be done by or before next date of hearing. It is also provided that CEO Patnitop Development Authority shall also remain present on the next date of hearing along with record to explain his position”, the DB directed.
