JAMMU, Feb 11: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Citizens Forum, Division Bench of High Court comprising Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice Sindhu Sharma has granted three weeks time to ASGI for seeking instructions from the Union Ministry of Urban Development regarding the Smart City Project and the Metrolite Project for the city of Jammu.
After hearing Advocate Aditya Sharma for the PIL whereas AAG Ravinder Gupta for the UT, the DB granted three weeks time to ASGI.
The direction has been passed when respondents in this PIL have come out with a stand that there is no such proposal for the construction of the flyover and that now the city of Jammu is under Smart City Project and there is a Metrolite Project for Jammu city so as to ease out the flow of traffic.
