JAMMU, Oct 13: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey and Justice B S Walia today allowed the use of Gandhi Nagar playfield on October 21 and 22 for celebration of Dusshera Festival. However, the DB made it clear that the ground shall not be used for installation of crackers stalls.
The order was issued in two applications filed by Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust and Deputy Commissioner seeking permission to use the grounds for the purpose of Dusshera Festival and installation of crackers stalls.
Advocate Vikram Sharma and AAGs Rakesh Khajuria and Ehsan Mirza appeared before the Division Bench during arguments.
