SRINAGAR, July 23: National Conference Working President, Omar Abdullah today appointed NC Leader and MLC Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Dar as the leader of the National Conference Legislative Party in the Legislative Council.
Ali Mohammad Dar was elected as an MLA from Chadoora in 1996 and has held various senior positions in the party. He was the Provincial President of National Conference from 2009 to 2013 and has served as the District President of Budgam and held various other organizational positions.
On this occasion, NC Working President Omar Abdullah said National Conference would continue to play the role of a constructive and responsible opposition in both the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council.
