RAJOURI, May 30: Residents of village Dalogra in Rajouri are facing lot of hardships due to failure of water supply to the area for the last about one week during these hot summer days.
Sarpanch Dalogra, Parveez Khan told the Excelsior that a few days ago, machinery was stolen. After that he made several phone calls to XEn PHE Mechanical Rajouri and AEE to restore the water supply but till now nothing has been done by them. People have to carry water from far off places.
He claimed that when on one hand government claims that government is committed to provide tap water to each and every house at the same time public is suffering badly. He requested DC Rajouri to look into the matter and direct concerned officials to restore water supply at the earliest.
