DODA, Mar 6: Daily wagers of Jal Shakti Department held protest outside Xen Office at Gandoh.
A large number of daily wagers of Jal Shakti Department assembled outside Xen Office and held protest. They raised slogans against the Government.
The protesting daily wagers were demanding their regularisation. Some of the protestors also include land owners, who had provided their land for water resources.
“We are protesting since long, but Government has not taken any step to redress our demands”, the protestors said.
They urged the Government to redress their demands on priority basis.
With a warning to protest in aggressive manner in Jammu, the protestors dispersed.
