DADAA apprises Priya Sethi of Duggar channel demand

JAMMU, Apr 15: Demanding Duggar Channel for Jammu province, a deputation of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) called on MoS Education, Culture and Information,   Priya Sethi at her residence, here today.
The deputation, led by its president J S Babli apprised the MoS about the importance of Duggar channel  for the upliftment of cultural heritage and languages spoken in Duggar Pradesh Jammu. He explained that Duggar channel on  the pattern of Kashir channel  will  protect, promote and develop the rich cultural heritage and languages of more than one crore Dogri speaking population, stretched in between Mirpur, Bimber, Bag, Sialkot and Shakargarh in Pakistan, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Hoshiyarpur in Punjab, Chamba, Kangra, Palampur, Kulu and  Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
Jammu is a suitable place being near to International Boarder and LoC to propagate and promote the prospective policies of Government of India in regard to Kashmir tangle to convince the masses living across the border effectively and also counter the false propaganda of Pakistan against our State as well as our country, said the DADAA deputation, which comprised of Madan Rangeela, Utam Singh Utam, Rajinder Narang, Subash Jamwal, R Vijay Magotra, Usha Jamwal, and others.
