CWA expresses concern over pathetic situation in hospitals

JAMMU, Sept 26: Consumer Welfare Association (CWA) here today in a virtual meeting expressed serious concern on the pathetic situation in Government hospitals and urged upon those at the helm of affairs to make adequate arrangements for taking proper care of patients.
S.K Gupta, President CWA said shortage of beds in hospitals can be covered by using marriage halls, resorts or religious Ashrams by placing all facilities there as was done by Delhi Government to accommodate Corona patients.
Gupta also said that people of Jammu are worried about very high rise of Corona positive cases in Jammu besides poor and insufficient arrangements for affected patients in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and other hospitals in the region.
