JAMMU, Apr 30: Under Eminent Lecture Series, Central University Jammu organized a lecture on “Indian Management as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda”, here today.
Prof Sunita Singh Sengupta from Department of Management Studies, Delhi University, who is the founder editor of many international journals and disciplines related to good governance and ethics, delivered the lecture and narrated the teachings of the spiritual leader, Swami Vivekananda.
Highlighting Swamiji as an economist and a strategist and to understand about the psyche of Swamiji, she focused on the aspects that shaped Vivekananda’s frame of mind, his transformation from the most reactionary person to the choicest disciple of his teacher Sri Ramakrishna. She emphasized on Swamiji’s saying ‘as many views so many paths’ which Swamiji had realized much before he addressed the people of Chicago on 11 September 11, 1893.
Prof Deepak Raj Gupta, Prof H S Sehgal and Prof Lokesh Verma along with faculty members of the various Departments of the Central University of Jammu were present during the lecture. Students of University were also present to take the maximum benefit from the lecture organized.
