JAMMU, Aug 6: Department of English, Central University of Jammu organized an extension lecture by Prof. Tej Nath Dhar, who is an eminent scholar of English Literature.
Prof. Dhar spoke on the topic “The Act of Reading.” He also gave a “magic formula” to the scholars and students of the Department for enriching their vocabulary and improving their writing skills.
Prof. K. B. Razdan was also a special invitee on the occasion. He stressed on the importance of words for attaining ‘sublimity’.The lecture was attended by Prof. Deepsheekha Kotwal, Raj Gaurav Verma, Raj Thakur, Dr. Kiran Kalra and Harpreet Kour and scholars and students of the Department.
Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Kiran Kalra and formal vote of thanks was given by Raj Thakur. The scholars and the students of the Department actively participated in the question-answer session held after the lecture.
