JAMMU, Oct 21: A young worker of Chenab Textiles Mill Kathua is said to have committed suicide in his quarter at CTM Colony here last night.
The body of the worker namely, Mintu Kumar, son of Updesh Kumar, resident of Khushi Nagar in Utter Pradesh was noticed by the neighbours from a window and they gathered there. Later, the matter was reported to police which rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital. A case was registered in this connection. It is said that deceased was living along with his brother in the quarter and he had gone to a shrine. The police was investigating.
