JAMMU, Feb 24: J&K Civil Secretariat Non Gazetted Employees Union (CSNGEU) and Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) today warned the Government that they will launch agitation in case it failed to settle their demands immediately.
The warning was jointly issued by CSNGEU and J&K JCC in their meeting held here under the chairmanship of R A Bhat, convener JCC and president CSNGEU.
The meeting was held to take the stock of the situation arising out of non fulfillment of long pending demands of the employees by the Government.
The first meeting was attended by the office bearers of CSNGEU and the second meeting by various Trade Union leaders of Jammu including the EJAC leaders from Srinagar.
The members expressed their concern over lukewarm approach adopted by the Governments towards the demands which stand already agreed upon in various agreements signed with the successive Governments.
The meeting demanded rectification of pay anomaly exiting in the clerical cadre, regularization of daily wagers, review of J&K Medical Attendance cum allowance rules, 1996 and release of two DA installments.
