JAMMU, Mar 15: The Civic Safiakaramchari Union, (CSKU) Jammu Municipal Corporation protested against unprecedented president and termed his demoralized politics and false statement, which he made yesterday as unjust and unwanted.
Addressing the protesters in the Town Hall, Rinku Gill, president and his supporters, termed him as suppressed man who not only harms the union but also harms the humanity too. Protesters said that present elected president has upgraded the living standards of employees by providing their rights to employees either he/she is educated or uneducated within one and a half years working time period out of five years judicially given to Rinku Gill (elected president of Civic Safai Karamchari Union).
Coming in support of present president, the various speaker on the occasion, said that he has completed his promise to the employees of Municipal Corporation at the time of CSKU election by getting approved SRO-43 in JMC, uniform with rain coat shoes (winter and summer), PDL 26 safaikaramchari, 20 safaikaramchari promoted to I/C Sanitary Supervisor, 25 safaikaramchari permanent, salary of 200 casual basis safaikaramchari enchanced from Rs 2100 to Rs 4500 pm, played a prominent role in the procedure for providing 600 posts for casual basic safaikaramchari and providing employment to the children of safaikaramchari who died on PDL post were the achievement highlighted in the protest demonstation.
The protester also condemned the erstwhile president who has misguided the employees with bogus and false statement against present president Civic Safaikaramchari Union.
It was also recalled that union will always be remembered to all local bodies that union played a prominent role in the procedure for emgagement of 600 posts to casual labour. It is imminent to Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation take necessary action’ they added.
Others present on the occasion were Ch Jarnail Khokhar, Sanju Burrat, Ram Chand, Rohit George, Kulvinder Khokhar, Raju Bali, Ashwani, Ravi Khokhar, Razak Bhatti, Kashmiro, cashiers of union, office bearers among others.
