CS heads Panel on promotion of DGP/ADGPs

JAMMU, Aug 7:  Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam will head the Screening Committee for promotion of IPS officers to the grade of Director General of Police/Additional Director General of Police or equivalent posts.
Besides the Chief Secretary as Chairman, the reconstituted Screening Committee will have three members including Lokesh Dutt Jha, presently posted as Vice Chairman/ Director General J&K IMPARD, RK Goyal, Principal Secretary, Home Department and Dr SP Vaid, Director General of Police.
The Committee will consider the promotion of IPS officers to the grade of Director General of Police/Additional Director General of Police or equivalent posts.
