NEW DELHI, Mar 31: Crude palm oil prices moved up by 0.60 per cent to Rs 573.40 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators created fresh positions, driven by improvements in demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 3.40, or 0.60 per cent, to Rs 573.40 per 10 kg in business turnover of 138 lots.
In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in March traded higher by Rs 1.10, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 570.60 per 10 kg in 11 lots.
Analysts said speculators created fresh positions on the back of a rise in demand in the spot market that helped crude palm oil prices to trade higher at futures trade. (AGENCIES)
