Crude palm oil futures remain up on rising demand

NEW DELHI, Jan 25: Crude palm oil prices advanced by 0.45 per cent to Rs 574.40 per 10 kg in futures market today as participants indulged in raising bets, tracking a firm trend at spot market on strong demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in February went up by Rs 2.60, or 0.45 per cent to Rs 574.40 per 10 kg in business turnover of 226 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in January edged up by Rs 1.90, or 0.34 per cent to Rs 564.40 per 10 kg in 29 lots.
Analysts said expanding of positions by participants on the back of rising demand in the physical market against tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing regions kept crude palm oil prices higher at futures trade. (PTI)
