JAMMU, Mar 13: 76 Battalion CRPF today organized free medical camps under civic action programme here at Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, Gujjar Colony near bypass road Channi Himmat and behind Wave Mall, Shankar Colony, Channi Rama.
The medical camps were organized under the guidance of P.S Ranpise, IGP CRPF Jammu Sector; Rajendera Prasad, DIG Jammu Range; Sunand Kumar, Commandant Jammu Sector and Sunit Varshney, Commandant 76 Bn CRPF.
Medical Officers (MOs) of civil administration and CRPF Dr. S.L Fotra, MO 76 Bn; Dr. Ayush Bushan, MO; Dr. Maninder Singh, MO; Dr. Gurbinder Singh, General Physician; Dr. Chandan Sharma and Dr. Tarun Malik, CH CRPF Bantallab examined the local patients in the camp and gave them free medicines.
Apart from this COVID-19 preventive kits were also distributed to 126 persons at Gujjar Colony and 243 persons in Shankar Colony.
Kamal Sisodiya, Second-in-Command; Mahendra Singh, Second-in-Command; Satyaveer Singh, Deputy Commandant; S.S Somawanshi, Deputy Commandant of 76 Bn CRPF were also participated in the camp.
Locals urged the CRPF to organize such camps in the future also.
