Crime Branch raids house of Gola Shah, land documents seized

JAMMU, Apr 7: In a land sale case, Crime Branch Jammu raided the house of Ravinder Gupta alias Gola Shah of Jammu and seized some incriminate revenue documents.
The house was raided in connection with case FIR number 19/2011 under Section 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B RPC at Police Station Crime Branch Jammu after obtaining necessary search warrant from the court.
The said case was registered  on a complaint lodge by Kuldeep Raj Gupta, son of Rajmal Gupta of Ward number 1, R S Pura, Jammu who  had purchased land measuring four kanals falling under Khasra number 643-Min situated at Greater Kailash Jammu through Gola Shah.
However, after executing sale deed through Joginder Singh of Sunjawan in the court of Sub-Registrar Jammu, Gola Shah didnot give possession of land to the complainant for affecting mutation in Revenue records. Instead, he started threatening Kuldeep Raj Gupta of dire consequences if the latter took any step for mutation of the said land.
During the course of investigation, Gola Shah did not cooperate with the investigating agency and also not produced any document related to the instant case. After obtaining necessary search warrant, raid was conducted by the Jammu Crime Branch teach and some documents such as Revenue records and sale deeds were seized in presence of independent witnesses.
