JAMMU, July 4: In a petition filed by Shabir Ahmed Khan, former Minister of State for Health and former MLA seeking quashment of the order where he was ordered to be evicted from the Estates accommodation,1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu M S Parihar issued notice to the Director Estates to show cause why the appeal may not be admitted for hearing.
After hearing Senior Advocate BS Salathia with Advocate Meenakshi Salathia appearing for the petitioner, court also directed respondents to file objections.
In the meanwhile, the court ordered that subject to objections from other side and till next date, the operation of impugned order No DDE/J/455 dated June 30, 2015 issued by Deputy Director Estates whereby petitioner has been declared as unauthorized occupant of quarter and cancelling his allotment, shall remain stayed.
