JAMMU, Mar 22: Principal Sessions Kathua, M K Hanjura today rejected the bail application of one Surinder Kumar, son of Krishan Chand of Nagri Parole, who was arrested along with huge quantity of intoxicant capsules on December 23, 2012.
After hearing Advocate Ravi Dogra for the applicant whereas Public Prosecutor Ravi Kumar Gupta for the State, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “the seized drugs fall in the ambit of the commercial quantity and it attracts the bar created by Section 37 of the NDPS Act”.
“Therefore, the application of the petitioner does not deserve any consideration at this stage”, the Court said while dismissing the application.
