UDHAMPUR, May 22: Udhampur Police has secured a court order for disposal of a vehicle seized in connection with an NDPS case registered at Police Station Latti.
The order was issued by the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ramnagar, in connection with FIR number 15/2026 registered under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act.
Officials said a Hyundai i20 car bearing registration number DL CN 3903, which was seized during investigation of the case, has been ordered to be disposed of after completion of all legal formalities under Section 52-A of the NDPS Act, including certification of inventory.
The vehicle will now be auctioned through the competent Drug Disposal Committee in accordance with the provisions of law, police said.
