Srinagar, Sept 3: A local court today extended the police remand of a Lashkar-e-Toiba militant who was captured in the woods of Rafiabad in Baramulla district during an encounter last week.
The captured LeT militant, Sajjad Ahmad alias Abu Ubaidulla, of Pakistan was produced today in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Sopore. The CJM extended Sajjad’s remand till September 10.
The militant is currently lodged at Dangiwach Police Station of north Kashmir. The militant had revealed that he was tasked to establish Lashkar base in north Kashmir along with his four associates who were killed by security forces.
