DODA, July 21: Bhalla police arrested a couple along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, during checking near link road Khellani top, a team from Bhalla police post arrested a couple along with 75 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested persons have been identified as Satish, son of Srikanth and his wife Rita Devi, resident of Brahmpuri, at present Bhalla.
A case under FIR Number 83/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Bhalla police post SI Sunil Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
