JAMMU, Sept 24: JMC Councilor, Rajni Bala today hit out at BJP Government in the Centre for unprecedented price hike on petrol, diesel and cooking gas and said people have been pushed to wall, despite hue and cry in the country.
Addressing a people of Raipur Domana constituency after starting development works in Ward No 60 ( Ploura) of Raipur Domana Constituency, the senior Congress leader said that BJP had lost the moral right of claiming to be the champions of the Jammu cause. She said the people of Jammu are feeling let down as the entire system of governance has gone haywire.
Rajni Bala held BJP Government responsible for all miseries of general masses who were ditched by their elected, representatives. She alleged that despite getting huge mandate from Jammu, BJP back-stabbed aspirations of Dogras and surrendered for the lust of power. She accused BJP of ignoring the issues affecting the people of Jammu region. People are not happy with their policies and the government has proved to be a failure, she added.
Councilor further said that the Congress party is fully committed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for development and progress. She said that her Party has always worked for strengthening the secular fabric of J&K and will fight all divisive forces who are hell-bent upon tearing apart or creating a wedge between regions and people on the basis of religion, caste or ethnicity.
Rajni Bala has also asked the executing agency (PWD) to complete the same work on a fast track basis so that the people may not face any inconvenience. She laid stress upon the officials to maintain quality of work.
Later, she met a large number of people and was apprised of their demands and grievances.
