Councillor Anu Bali starts lane-drain, tile work

JAMMU, June 28: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Anu Bali here today started lane-drain and tile work near Education Board in Ward 24.
The work will be completed at a cost of Rs 4.80 lakh.
The tiles in the area were in dilapidated condition since long and the locals there especially the elders were facing a lot of problems while passing through these lanes.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate JMC in various development works undertaken by it in the city.
She urged upon the residents of her Ward to avoid single use plastics, polythene in routine work and don’t throw debris, garbage, filth etc in public drains and lanes.
Bali asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean-green and a beautiful city.
Local including Vipin Sharma, Pooja Sharma, Shakti Gupta, Sanjeev, B.R Gupta, Chanan Gupta, Kailash Gupta, Rattan Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
