This has reference to the article ‘Ignorance infect PDD’ by Sudhir Sharma.
He finds faults in lack of staff, financial health, tenures, T&D network and Government initiatives. I can understand lack of staff affecting delay in service but how does it affect T&D losses.
He doesn’t look inside. How do all meter readers own cars and huge houses? How are JE’s and AEE’s having such disproportionate assets? How are they living these luxurious life styles ?
This is due to stealing electricity blatantly. In industrial area, villages and to my horror even influential people, and men of repute steal electricity in J&K. Look at the electricity bills. Houses worth crores pay less than Rs 1000 as bill. All air conditioners should be run on meter. Biggest corruption is pay for one AC and pay some money to meter reader for three ACs. All migrant workers pay money to linemen and run heaters and iron clothes. Gujarat lodged 5 lakh FIRs some days back and they get 24/7 electicity. If PDD does this, how will they run their lavish lives. How is it that temporary employees are so motivated. Are our JEs and AEEs giving example to motivate them or ”Is it common black thread of corruption?”
