NEW DELHI, Apr 30: Coriander and turmeric prices fell Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Coriander and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 8,400-13,400 and Rs 7,800-11,900 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks, mainly pulled down coriander and turmeric prices.
Following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Ajwain 13,500-18,500, black pepper (per kg) 700-900, betel-nut (kg) 180-200, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,300-1,330 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,400-1,500.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 670-730, cardamom (colour robin) 660-700, cardamom bold 690-735, cardamom extra (bold) 880-930 and cloves (kg) 920-1,020. (PTI)
