JAMMU, Jan 9: During routine checking of trains at Railway Station Katra, GRP personnel today found an unattended briefcase in a bogie of superfast train and alerted the SHO Police Station GRP Katra and SDPO Railways.
The SDPO and SHO under the supervision of SSP Railways Katra, Ranjit Singh Sambyal rushed to the spot and found 95 liquor pouches of blue whisky 180 ml each in the briefcase.
The SHO, Inspector Narinder Singh seized the briefcase U/S 26 of Police Act.
A handout stated that a separate complaint will be filed before the Magistrate Katra in this regard.
